A quick and easy instant pot recipe that I love making for my grandkids.
Healthy lentil soup and a perfect pick me up in any season.
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 20 minutes
Servings: 4 people
Ingredients
½ onion
1 TBSPN Ghee
1 tspn Garam Masala
½ cup lentils (moongdal)
2 cups water
1 tomato
1 tspn salt
1 tspn turmeric
2 small pieces of fresh ginger
Recipe
1. Sautee ½ onion in ghee
2. Add Garam Masala and sautee until onion is clear
3. Wash and add lentils
4. Add 2 cups water
5. Add 1 tomato with core removed
6. Add salt
7. Add ginger (peeled)
8. Set Instant Pot on manual for 20 minutes and cook until ready
9. Serve with rice and plain yogurt or raita
